Eric Rounds is a retired City School District English teacher. He began participating in writing courses and workshops as a way of improving his writing instruction. That was successful, but writing soon became something he did for its intrinsic pleasures. He has read poetry since his own high school years and now writes it. Eric joined Just Poets two years ago. Three poets who inspire and guide his writing are e.e. cummings, Robert Francis, and Frederick Goddard Tuckerman.
