Break bread with some of the area's finest poets. Come work, relax, learn, and create in a beautiful fall setting.  Coffee and food in a.m., dish-to-pass lunch in afternoon. Learn, write and make new friends!

INTERIORS AND EXTERIORS: WRITING SELF IN POETRY

How do we use words to craft other selves? To grapple with past hurts, present identities, and future realities? How does self-exploration work in tandem with the poetic? This workshop will be an exploration of self— real and imagined—and the ways we use poetry as a tool of self-expression.

AFTERNOON SESSION

Outside the Walls (poetic walk-about) followed by reflections in words and a Sharing Your Work Circle (bring your best one! or get creative right there!)

A.M. Session begins at 9:30. Arrive a little earlier to have a cup of coffee and mingle.

Fall foliage, comfortable chairs and a great fireplace await you.
