Kitty Jospé is a teacher with an enthusiasm for bringing out the inner spark in others through words, language play, art tours, dance, and music. She has been an active poet since 2004 when she retired from teaching French. Her three books published by Foothills: Cadences (2009), which pulls work from her Pacific University MFA thesis, Golden Smoke (2015) and a new and revised, Twilight Venus (2018). Her work has appeared as well in numerous journals and two chapbooks, Mosaicq (semi-finalist, Finishing Line Press, 2012) and Gathering Lines. She is active in many community connections and enjoys giving lectures on different aspects of poetry, including Ekphrasis, drawing on her 20+ years of experience as Docent at the Memorial Art Museum.

You will find her curating weekly sessions at both Pittsford (since Feb. 2008) and Rundel libraries where people gather to read good poems aloud, then discuss.
