Just Poets presents an R-Voices event celebrating the rich and inspiring community of African-American poetic voices in Rochester.

The ROC BOTTOM SLAM TEAM is the only adult slam team in Rochester, New York. The team was put together in January of 2013 by Program Director, Lu Highsmith of LuCreations Productions. The team consists of eight talented individuals; Team Captain, Aceyon, Marvelous Marvin, A.O.R, Matthew Dreitlein, Ladii Love, Chi The Realist, K-T, and Poetically Undefined.

They have been able to travel most of all of New York State, Canada and attended out of state shows as well. 

If you haven't yet had the chance to hear this team perform, you are truly missing out!
