Come for another great night of poetry and fellowship at the Before Your Quiet Eyes bookstore. This month's featured reader is Lisa Metzger.

Lisa is an educator, writer, cat lover and career learner. She's an instructor in The University Writing Program at Rochester Institute of Technology. Interested in phenomenological research related to literacy and social justice, she is currently finishing her PhD at the University of Rochester in Teaching and Curriculum. A former Adirondack Wilderness Guide, she loves spending time outdoors. A voracious reader, her favorite authors are Tibetan Buddhist Pema Chodron, and adventure writer Clive Cussler. She approaches fiction and nonfiction writing as vigorous reminders of what it means to be awake in the world...

And, of course, don't forget to bring some poems of your own to share during the open mic portion of the event.
