Gail Hosking grew up as an army brat and is the author of the memoir Snake's Daughter: The Roads in and out of War (U of Iowa Press) and the poetry chapbook The Tug (Finishing Line Press). Her work has been anthologized several times. She has two essays coming out soon in Ellipsis and Upstreet. Two other essays were considered “most notable” in Best American Essays of 2014 and 2015. She teaches writing at the Rochester Institute of Technology and has a poetry manuscript floating out there in the world of literary contests.
